Quality Material

The kayak is mostly made of K-80 Polykrylar. This material has a very high tear resistance. Plus, it can be welded cleanly and uniformly allowing it to retain an attractive design.

Portable and Lightweight

Despite having enough strength to carry up to 3 persons (2 adults and a child), the kayak itself folds away to be fairly compact. It weighs only 32 pounds and is easy to inflate and deflate. It can also be easily stored in the supplied tote bag.

Safety

The floor construction of the kayak is a 5-tube I-beam. This allows the weight to be shifted from the side chambers to the floor. Plus, the change from 7-tube I-beams means that each beam is much more rigid as they are bigger to compensate for the lesser number of beams.

There are also 3 air chambers. So if you do get a puncture, you still have 2 inflated chambers that should keep you above the water until you paddle back to shore.
