The Trident Kayak Is Best For…

With the shorter length, it should also be easier to maneuver on the water and could perform well on slow moving rivers and flatwater.

The Trident 15 is a 15 foot 6 inch version that is built with similar features but with a faster, more efficient hull design. It’s just 28.5 inches wide, making it ideal for long journeys. With the extra length, there’s also additional storage space and an extra 100 pound capacity.

Storage Capacity
The Trident features plenty of storage options to allow you to bring along all the gear you should need for a full day on the water. The stern features a large tank well that can be ideal for storing a cooler or crate.
In the center of the kayak, there’s a convenient storage console, the Mod Pod II, which features a splash resistant storage compartment, a cup holder, accessory plate and tackle tray storage.
At the bow, there’s a handy 20 inch storage hatch with a Click Seal lid, that also benefits from having a storage bag insert, for a battery or small items.

Ocean Paddling
This craft is built to be paddled in a range of conditions. Because of its narrow hull and longer length, it is designed to be faster over the water, which could make longer journeys easier.
It’s also been designed for stability in surf and rough water, so it should make a good vessel for ocean fishing, especially if you need to launch from a beach.
Fishing
The Trident is ready for your next fishing trip, with two flush mounted rod holders and gear tracks along the sides. So you can easily install additional rod holders and other accessories.
When you’re concentrating on your catch, you can secure your paddle in the paddle holder at the front, so it won’t float away while you’re busy.
The scupper hole in the center, near the accessory plate is transducer compatible, and the hull has been designed with this in mind.
Padded Seat
The Trident features Ocean Kayak’s ACS II seat, which is padded and fully adjustable. This means you can adjust the height of the backrest, as well as lift up the seat bottom to a more comfortable position for your legs and thighs.
